Student Council

At AVM, we believe that every student has the potential to lead and inspire. To nurture this spirit, we have established the Students’ Council, a representative body that gives our learners a platform to develop leadership skills, practice responsibility, and contribute to the school community.

The Students’ Council is elected/selected from among our senior classes and includes roles such as School Pupil Leader (SPL), Assistant SPL, House Captains, and representatives from various classes and clubs.

Council Functions

  • Acts as a bridge between students and school administration.

  • Promotes discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.

  • Organises cultural, sports, and social activities.

  • Encourages student participation in decision-making.

  • Instils values of service, cooperation, and leadership.

We view the Students’ Council not only as a body of representatives but also as a training ground where young leaders learn to express their views, solve problems, and work for the common good. It is our way of ensuring that student voices are heard and respected while preparing them to be confident and responsible leaders of tomorrow.
